Image widget code for online stores: mockups and visual ideas for shoppers
An AI image widget can help shoppers picture a product idea before they buy. Here is how stores use the image widget code, and how to keep it on brand and within budget.

Shoppers often struggle to picture the result: a custom print, a room color, a gift idea. An AI image widget lets them describe it and see a generated visual in seconds, without leaving your store. Because the widget is white label, it looks like part of your shop, not a third party tool.
Ideas that work in a store
- Custom prints and merchandise: "a minimalist mountain line drawing for a mug" gives the shopper a starting point to discuss with you.
- Interior and decor: visitors sketch a mood ("a calm Scandinavian bedroom in sage green") before browsing matching products.
- Gift inspiration: a quick visual helps someone decide what to order.
Be clear on the page that the pictures are AI generated concepts, not photos of a product you ship. That keeps expectations honest and avoids returns.
Add it to a product or landing page
Create an Image widget in Widgets, save it and copy the code:
<script src="https://api14.com/widget.js" data-widget="YOUR_WIDGET_ID" async></script>
Most store builders accept a custom HTML block. Paste the tag there, or render the widget into a specific element with data-target. The widget lives in its own Shadow DOM, so your theme's CSS and the widget never interfere with each other.
Make it look like your store
The image widget carries no logo and no "powered by" line. Set the title and button in your shop's voice, choose your brand's accent color, and pick a theme that matches your pages. Use the placeholder to show a good example prompt: shoppers copy what they see.
Keep spending predictable
A store can have busy days, so set limits before a campaign:
- Run the widget under a dedicated API key. In the editor, the last option of the key list is Create new API key. Give that key a daily spend limit and restrict it to the image model you chose.
- Add a daily spend limit on the widget itself.
- Under Settings, Widget controls, set how many requests one visitor may send per day.
Usage shows the widget's requests by site and by widget, so you can see whether the tool pays for itself.
Allow only your store's domain
List your shop's domain under Settings, Widget sites. A domain also covers its subdomains, so example.com includes www.example.com.
Try the builder on the widgets page to see how an image widget would look on your store.
