MCP server and USDC top-ups

  • Connect any MCP client to https://api14.com/api/mcp with your API key. Agents get tools to list models, chat, generate images, read the balance and top up. See MCP server for agents.
  • Top up the USD balance with USDC on Base over x402, from HTTP (POST /api/v1/topup) or from the MCP topup_balance tool. The balance is credited after the payment settles on chain. See USDC top-ups.

Widgets

  • Embed a white-label chat, image, speech, music or video widget on any site with one script tag. Widgets run only on your allowed sites and are capped by per-widget and account-wide daily spend limits and a per-visitor daily request quota. See Widgets.

Rate limit headers and safe retries

  • Generation responses carry X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset.
  • Send Idempotency-Key to retry safely: a repeated key returns 409 idempotency_conflict instead of charging twice. See Rate limits.

Plan rate limits

  • Requests per minute by plan are now Free 5, Pro 100, Team 3,000 and Enterprise 3,000+. Anonymous playground requests use the Free limit. See Rate limits.

Display currencies

  • Prices can be shown in any of the 133 currencies Stripe supports; pick one in the site footer. Exchange rates refresh every 4 hours. Billing, the balance and API responses stay in USD. See Pricing & billing.

Video and music generation

  • POST /videos creates asynchronous video jobs for models such as google/veo-3.1-fast and openai/sora-2-pro. Poll GET /videos/{id} and download from GET /videos/{id}/content. See Video.
  • Video jobs are charged once, when they complete. The estimated cost must be covered by your balance when the job is created.
  • Music and audio-output models are available through chat completions. See Music & audio.
  • Video and music models are included in the Pro, Team and Enterprise plans.

Account endpoints

  • GET /credits returns your USD balance (total_credits, total_usage) plus balance_usd. GET /key returns the same information for the current key. See Balance & key info.
  • GET /generation?id= looks up the cost and metadata of your past requests. See Generation lookup.
