Music widget code for creators: jingles, intros and background loops
Creators need short pieces of music all the time. A music widget on your site lets your audience or your team generate them from a text prompt, under your own brand.

Podcasters, video editors and streamers constantly need short music: an intro, a transition sting, a quiet background loop. If you run a site for creators, a music widget gives your audience a tool they will come back to. If you run a team, it gives everyone the same quick way to draft audio ideas.
Use cases that fit a short clip
- Podcast intros and outros: "warm, upbeat ukulele, 10 seconds, friendly".
- Video transitions: "short whoosh with a synth hit".
- Background loops: "soft lo-fi beat for a study stream".
- Mood boards: generate a few clips to agree on a direction before hiring a composer.
Before your audience uses the clips commercially, point them to your own terms and to the model provider's usage terms. Rules on generated audio differ between providers.
Embed it on your site
Create a Music widget in Widgets, save it and copy:
<script src="https://api14.com/widget.js" data-widget="YOUR_WIDGET_ID" async></script>
Place it on a tools page, inside a course, or in a members area. It renders in an isolated Shadow DOM, so it will not clash with your site's styles. Each clip plays in the widget and comes with a Download link.
Make it part of your brand
The widget is white label: no logo, no "powered by" line. Write the title and button label in your community's voice, use the placeholder to show a great example prompt, and set the accent color and theme to match your site. If you run several widgets, keep the wording consistent across them.
Plan for popularity
Creative tools get shared, and a shared tool can get busy quickly. Set limits before you announce it:
- Dedicated API key: in the editor's key list, the last option is Create new API key. Give the new key a daily spend limit and restrict it to your music model.
- Widget limit: add a daily spend limit on the widget too.
- Per visitor: under Settings, Widget controls, limit requests per visitor per day.
- Alerts: turn on failure emails so you know the same day if the widget stops.
Usage shows the widget's requests by site, which helps if you embed it on several properties.
Design your music widget on the widgets page; no account is needed to try the builder.
